The measure is being prepared for the Council of Ministers scheduled for this Thursday, the 16th, where the Government should confirm their intentions to end the Golden Visa Program.

According to the weekly, nothing has yet been decided and the Government will also be evaluating the conclusions of a study by the Bank of Portugal.

The prime minister announced last week that he would proceed with a set of changes regarding housing, making more public land available for housing and creating "a strong incentive for the construction of housing by private developers" through tax benefits.
