Retired couple John and Carol moved to Lisbon in 2019 with the help of DRP Advisers, local Real Estate professionals & Golden Visa consultants.

John “In 2015 we bought an apartment in Lisbon. It was so affordable, but I remember worrying because the property prices had just started to rise. I’m pleased we didn’t wait for the prices to drop though as they haven’t stopped climbing ever since and we made some hefty profit from renting it.”

When their kids left for college John and Carol wanted to retire and live a more economical life.

Entrepreneur David and his wife Amanda fell in love with the Algarve whilst visiting friends in 2018. Jealous of their friend’s lifestyle they setup home whilst on holiday. David “By the week of our holiday we already felt like we belonged here. We had expat friends, we found a rental property and the kids even did trial days at AIS school.”

Married couple, Jonathan and Akash moved to Lisbon in 2016.  Akash “Being Asian and gay I’ve always suffered a lot of discrimination in America, but the Portuguese don’t care if you’re black, white, rich, poor, you’re accepted”.
